Tickets are now available to see Men I Trust at Rock City!
There is no better time to see Canadian indie band Men I Trust as they embark on their UK tour for 2023. Their ethereal take on dream pop takes chill to the next level, combining hypnotic shoegaze and catchy pop. It’s hard not to fall in love with their sound. Drago says “we like to use a lot of repetitive movements in melodies and chord progressions to give the songs a prayer-like rhythm… this commits people more deeply into the song. People can’t avoid reading, so they end up reading the whole story. It’s a game of saying the most with the least words”.
Big name Tyler, The Creator personally scouted the band for the 2018 ‘Camp Flog Gnaw Festival’ – he’s a big fan.
The band are Jessy Cason (Bassist), Dragos Chiriac (Multi-Instrumentalist) and Emma Proulx (Vocalist and Guitarist). Initially an electric duo, Proulx only joined the band in 2016 after working on her solo project Bernache.
