Manheim’s metalcore giants August Burns Red are to embark on their greatest, the most epic tour of the UK and Europe to date. As if this news was already overwhelming enough, the band will be bringing support too. From the finest as The Devil Wears Prada and Whitechapel will be along for the ride.
This will be August Burns Red’s first UK tour since the band blew the roof off loads of venues including Rock City last November on the Eastpak Antidote tour. Now the band will be coming back for a full-scale month-long metal assault on the continent and our senses.
August Burns Red’s last two albums have had huge success in the US. With break out album Constellations reaching #24 in the US Billboard charts and 2011’s colossal follow-up Leveler reaching #11. The band’s reach is now extending into Europe where they’re steadily winning over fans with their meticulous and ferocious live performance. This weekend they played to thousands from the second stage at Download Festival. The size and enthusiasm of the crowd were a testament to just how popular this band really are.
