Two of the finest Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath cover bands are set to play a great show in Rock Citys basement, this is for all fans of classic metal and rock. Great songs by great musicians with a great atmosphere.
Established in 1995 Higher-on-Maiden are the Original and Finest Tribute to Iron Maiden. Over the years they have appeared in over 13 countries, the band members have actually played on stage with Steve Harris, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, Paul Dianno & Blaze Bayley, and now in 2010 are still going as strong as ever.
Blizzard of Ozz are the countries most powerful Ozzy Tribute act and have been playing together for 4 years. This summer will see them playing the Main Stage for the Bulldog bash, along side Status Quo, Gun and Bad Manners. They play classics from Ozzy’s time in Black Sabbath, classics from his solo albums of the 80’s and 90’s right up to material of his latest album. All this delivered with the raw and powerful performance that you would get if you went to see the real Ozzy live. This year is particularly important for Ozzy fans – it’s the 30th anniversary of the release of ‘Blizzard of Ozz’, Ozzy’s first solo release which was a ground breaking album for the Prince of Darkness, and Blizzard of Ozz honour that by playing various track from that album in their set.
