1. Participation
1. Unless specified otherwise, DHP Group competitions are open to all members of the public who live in Nottingham and the surrounding area for those competitions relating to Rock City, The Bodega, Stealth and Rescue Room, and to those who live in Bristol and surrounding area for competitions relating to The Thekla.
2. Surveys and prize draws are not open to employees of DHP Group, its subsidiaries and affiliates and suppliers or those domiciled with such employees or members of their immediate family.
2. Competition Period
1. The survey and competition for ‘Venue Survey’ will commence on August 5th, and last for 4 weeks. The competition winner will be notified by email no longer than 6 weeks after this end date.
2. DHP Group reserves the right to extend the entry period.
3. No purchase is necessary.
3. How to Enter
1. By completing an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/venue_survey.
2. Offline surveys will also be provided at various DHP Group outlets for manual completion, subject to management discretion as to when and how many.
3. The Venue Survey does not require you to submit your email address; however you cannot be entered into the prize draw unless you have submitted it. Email entries must be received within the promotion period.
4. Limitation of Entries
1. Only one entry per person per survey is permitted.
2. Only one entry per email address, per survey is permitted.
5. Prizes
1. At the end of the competition period, the prize to be awarded is as follows:
• One main prize of £200 in vouchers, to be redeemed at any DHP Venue, and can be spend on food, drink, club night entry or gig tickets.
• When purchasing gig tickets with the vouchers, these can be used at Rock City / Alt-tickets Box Office, or at point of entry at the venue at the start of the event and will be treated as a cash equivalent.
• When purchasing food and drink, vouchers can be used for promotions i.e. two for one, or happy hour, as is treated as a cash equivalent.
2. There will be no alternative to the above prizes. No transfer or assignment of prizes will be permitted except by DHP Group.
3. DHP Group reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
4. Winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries, to be held within 6 weeks days of the end of the promotion period, at DHP Group office. All decisions are final and binding.
6. Notification
1. Winners will be notified by email, post, or telephone within 14 days of the date of the draw. The winner may be required to provide DHP Group with proof that the winner is the authorised account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. The winners will have 28 days from notification to accept the prize, by sending a reply email responding to the sender email address. DHP Group will then send a further email asking the winner how they would like to collect their prize, either by post or by collection from Rock City/Alt-tickets Box Office.
2. The winner must reply to the notification within 28 days of the date that the email was sent in order to claim the prize. If after one month no email is received claiming a prize, the winner will not be eligible for that prize. For all unclaimed prizes left after one month, a new set of prize draw winners will be selected. Again these prize draw winners must reply to the notification within 28 days of notification to claim the prize. This process continues until all have been claimed.
7. Liability
DHP Group is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, mis-delivered, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, messages or post; unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission; on line failures; hardware software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances; or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner including without limitation, receipt of entries, entrance ability to participate in the prize draw winner notification, or winner response to notification. DHP Group is also not responsible for any damage to entrant’s computer occasioned by participation in the prize draw or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the prize draws.
8. Jurisdiction
These rules shall be governed by English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
