Black Stone Cherry are an American rock band formed in 2001 in Edmonton, Kentucky.
Their musical style is often likened to bands such as lynyrd skynyrd whilst retaining their on strong style, they have received much praise for their well crafted songs and poignant lyrics that has earn’t them a strong following on both sides of the atlantic.
Black Stone Cherry have released 3 studio albums, their first self titled album was released in 2006. Their second album ‘Folklore and Superstition’ was released in 2008 and reached number 1 in the UK rock Chart and 23 in the normal Chart. They most recent album ‘Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea’ released in May 2011 also reached number one in the UK Rock Chart and peaked at 13 in the normal Chart.
