Nashville native Cody Pennington brings his acclaimed Country Show to Rock City, Nottingham on Friday 04 September 2026. After multiple sell-out tours across the UK, Europe and Australia, this is your chance to experience his full Nashville-style country production in one of the UK’s most iconic venues.
From Nashville roots to international country favourite
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Cody Pennington grew up surrounded by country music but took a very different road before stepping onto big stages. He left home to join the United States Air Force, serving overseas while playing shows wherever and whenever he could. After the military came law school and a “normal” career path – until music pulled him back in for good.
That unusual journey – trailer-park beginnings, cheap guitars, military life, cruise ships, Australia, then law school – feeds straight into his songwriting and his on-stage storytelling. It’s a big part of why his shows feel personal, genuine, and full of real-life detail.
Cody’s live reputation has exploded over the last few years. His Country Show mixes his own material with huge hits from artists like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Dolly Parton and more, delivered with a full band and plenty of Nashville polish.
