On Bank-Holiday Sunday 6th May the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club are putting on a special All-Dayer event at the legendary Rock City in Nottingham!
‘Funk and Soul Club’ is a Funk and Soul Party hosted by DJ, Actor & Radio Presenter Craig Charles and other specials guests.
Building on sell-out performances at clubs up and down the country and headline festival appearances,The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club guarantees only the funkiest tunes will make it into the best party in town!
For an idea of what to expect check out The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show on BBC Radio 6, which is the longest-running show and has had the highest audience share of any programme on the station. The show explores the best in funk and soul from the roots of black music through to the current club sounds, featuring classic tracks, new releases, sessions and interviews.
Nottingham’s Rock City was the venue for the legendary 80s Funk & Soul All-Dayers, and we are excited to get back in there and help transform the venue into something very special for one night only!
