Following news of their fifth album ‘Too Much Information’ and its imminent arrival in February 2014, Maxïmo Park announce a UK tour and details of a special limited deluxe version of the album which sees the band cover selected songs from a variety of artists including The Fall, Leonard Cohen and Mazzy Star.
The band will be airing tracks from the new album on their first UK tour since 2012. ‘Too Much Information’ rides into view on a wave of expectation from a band who have created a collection of songs that pulses with life and intent. No less restless since their inception coupled with an ever – insightful musical backdrop sees Maxïmo Park emerge with what is a remarkable cache of tracks.
Maxïmo Park are an indie rock band from Newcastle. The band has drawn comparisons to Northeastern counterparts The Futureheads, as well as Franz Ferdinand, Pulp and Bloc Party for their addictive musical style and direct, edgyrock-pop sound.
