The Ordinary Boys have reunited to play a string of shows dedicated to the fans and for their love of performing. It will be the first time the band has played together in 5 years and the show will be based on their first record (Over the Counter Culture) and i quote ‘rougher, sweatier versions of some of their singles’. There will also be an online set list voted for by fans, so keep an eye out on The Ordinary Boys website and social media sites!
The Ordinary Boys are from Worthing in West Sussex, UK. They are heavily influenced by Mod revival bands and Britpop and they are named after a Morrissey song.
They have released 3 albums – Over The Counter Culture (2004), their debut, which went gold and had 4 top 40 hits. Then their second album Brassbound (2005) also went gold and features the bands anthem ‘Boys will be Boys’. Then their third album ‘How to Get Everything You Ever Wanted in 10 Easy Steps (2006) provided 3 consecutive top ten hits and marked a change in the bands sound into a more pop direction.
