CARAVAN PALACE
If you haven’t heard of Caravan Palace, there’s only word to describe them: energy.
A lot of energy.
They are more than just a music show. A full cabaret of light, sound and movement, the entire band dancing around the stage and maneuvering to various instruments – you could be forgiven for thinking you’re intruding on a jam session. It’s a sharp contrast to our support act Boogie Belgique. Of course, he’s got the trivial tunes that tick all the right boxes to get our heads a boppin’ and our toes a tappin’, but it’s not a show show. And he’s not trying to be: he’s here to make sure we’re warmed up plenty for our headliners, armed with enough disc-tastic artillery to fire us up.
Ditch your dancing boots, you’re going to need your running shoes on for tonight’s gig, for as soon as Caravan Palace take to the stage it’s a non-stop ninety-minute cardio workout. We’re getting into the swing of things straight away with Clash, instantly inducing us within the vintage modernity of the Roaring Twenties.

Their unwavering passion for hybrid-house electronica has been conceptualised into a setlist that is as integrated and seamless as their multi-instrumental tendencies. With the kinetically charged performances of Wonderland and Reverse not letting your eyes wander too far from the stage, we’re compelled to marvel at every moment. Zoe Colotis is an exceptional frontwoman, commandeering this ship of jazz solo interludes, robot moves, timed freeze-frames – all the while taking various costume changes.
