It’s Hotting up for Splendour as, Tickets Sell Fast and Sun Shines
With just over a week to go, the stage times for this year’s Splendour festival in Wollaton Park on Saturday July 20 have been released.
Up to 20,000 are expected to descend on the city’s famous deer park to enjoy sets from headliner Jake Bugg, KT Tunstall, Squeeze, Peter Hook & The Light and Maximo Park. As tickets are selling faster than ever this year, anyone who has not yet bought their tickets is urged to grab them quickly to avoid missing out.
With the weather forecast looking good, festival goers will be able to bask in the sunshine as they soak up the music from three live stages kicking off at 12pm with an opening set from The Gorgeous Chans, winners of the ‘Future Sound of Nottingham’ competition.
The festival will be brought to a close with a much anticipated set from the city’s own superstar Jake Bugg whose debut album shot back to the top of the itunes chart following his Glastonbury appearance.
